Jason Grant has two main roles at WFRG. As a Resource
Professional, he services clients in Washington, Oregon,
and California. He also serves as WFRG’s Marketing
Director, in which capacity he oversees company marketing,
including PR, and acts as liaison to the environmental
community and the green building movement.
Jason has
extensive experience with wood and wood flooring and
in working with architects, designers, and major corporations.
In 1993, he co-founded EcoTimber, still recognized
as a pioneering provider of ecological forest products.
As VP Marketing and later President of EcoTimber, he
spearheaded the company’s approach to A&D
and to national accounts like Gap and Disney. He left
EcoTimber in 2001 and in subsequent years worked for
the Certified Forest Products Council and Certified Wood
and Paper Association, where, among other responsibilities,
he organized workshops and developed resources for the
A&D community to help them specify FSC-certified
wood and achieve the wood-related credits under LEED. |
